What started as a few writing classes, taught by Ellen Dockham, blossomed into a beautiful, vibrant community.  Ellen, founder, and director for the first 5 years, often shares that Friendly Educator's was God's idea.  We can see that to be true, as He brought a group of people together with a variety of gifts, experiences, and abilities that make FE what it is today.

Today, with over 200 students from age 2 through high school, we see a community working together to prepare their children for excellence in their lives both today and in the future. It is our hope to create an environment where students and parents alike have a place to belong, a place to connect and be supported in their homeschooling journey.
