Price: $280 for 28 weeks
Course Description: Using materials from Math-U-See, your student will progress through 28 lessons covering topics such as exponents, factoring polynomials, the Quadratic Formula, graphing conic sections, graphing linear equations,word problems and more. Each week we will go over the lesson in class before your student returns home to do the rest of the worksheets and the test at home. They will read the next lesson in the book and bring the first worksheet and the test back for grading along with one sheet of homework. Please talk to the tutor before signing up as needed.
Course Prerequisites: Algebra 1 and Geometry

Books & Supplies required for purchase by families: Algebra 2 student materials, a calculator (any type) and the instructor manual Instruction Manual. DVD is optional. You may buy from anywhere. Cost $60-$125.
Homework Requirements: 1 or 2 hours a week for homework plus a test weekly.
Duration: 28 weeks
Grading: Grading is an A-F scale based on Homework 5%, Weekly tests 35%, 2 Unit Tests 30% each. Two semester grades will be averaged for a final grade.
Course Credit: 1 high school math credit
Teacher Bio: This class is taught by Jennie Weekley, a professional math tutor and teacher who runs her own tutoring business and has taught at FE for 12 years. She has a degree in early childhood education and homeschooled her three children who are now all finding success in the working world.
