Course Description:
We will walk explore common and challenging questions that often come up for Christians in our own minds and when discussing our faith with others. The course will start with general questions such as “What is the Bible?” and “Why should we believe what it says?” and then progress towards more specific ones like, “What are the different views on salvation and how should we define it?” Each week will address one of these questions through class discussion. In addition to prepared questions, students will be required come to class with a critical question they have or have been asked.Course Prerequisites: None
Curriculum used by Instructor: Based on a series of questions of questions Carl Dobson accumulated ministering to Georgia Tech students for over 40 years.
Books & Supplies required for purchase by families: A physical Bible and means to take notes
Homework Requirements: Come up with a discussion question for each week

Teacher Bio: Happy husband to Nancy as well as father of Miranda (6 going on 7) and Sam (5). I work as a professor of management at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the Bryan School of Business. Teaching, that is, guiding people to find truths that will set them free and empower them to make the world better for themselves and others, is my life’s passion.
