Marine Biology with Lab - (from online description) Apologia‘s Exploring Creation with Marine Biology, 2nd Edition, is an award-winning high school science and laboratory course for homeschool students that explores the mysteries of the oceans and the processes within them. This course is perfect for students interested in any of the disciplines within oceanography. Students will explore how a multitude of marine organisms develop, interact with one another, and adapt to their environment.  This homeschool Marine Biology course is rigorous and thorough. We recommend it as an upper-level high school course as it requires knowledge of general biology and assumes that students have previously participated in biological lab activities such as experiments, dissections, and microscopy. A traditional high school track typically consists of biology the freshman year, chemistry during the sophomore year, physics in the junior year, and an upper-level science course such as marine biology during the senior year. The parent’s job is to ensure that the student completes and understands the assignment and administer and score most tests at home.

This course will be taught by Keri Griffin who earned her AAS degree from Lake Michigan College and then went on to graduate from Michigan State University as an LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician). Keri has been tutoring high school and college level students from homeschool and public-schools for over 10 years. She has taught a variety of subjects,

through Classical Conversations, Wyzant Tutoring, Kneaded Energy School of Massage and Aristotle Tutoring. She is the Owner of BeachWind Massage Therapy ( ) and Owner and Director of Aristotle Tutoring ( and is available for private tutoring.
