Class Description: This course will provide students opportunities to prepare for the SAT and ACT by trying and exploring new strategies, working through example problems and sections, and helping students do their best on these two tests.
Curriculum: self-developed while pulling from required books listed below
Homework Requirements: Homework will include working daily on sample questions and strategies to prepare for the SAT and ACT before coming to class to work through the different sections of the tests. Students will be expected to spend anywhere from two hours to five hours a week on homework.
Duration: 28 weeks

Teacher Bio: This class is taught by Amanda-Joi Spencer, who completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at UNCG before completing her Master’s in Higher Education and Educational Leadership at Liberty University. Having been a homeschooler herself, Amanda-Joi appreciates being able to continue helping others pursue a homeschool education. She considers herself a lifelong learner and enjoys time with her family and dogs.
